Description
RideTech HQ Series shock kits provide a nice stance for your truck—while also correcting shock length and angle to maintain appropriate compression travel and dampening via new lower mounting brackets. Shock absorbers are the brains of your suspension; nothing influences how your auto rides and handles more than its shock absorbers. Their primary function is to control the oscillations of your vehicle's springs, thereby keeping your tires in contact with the road. To best accomplish that objective, Ridetech shock absorbers utilize monotube design which allows for a larger piston and more precise valving. The design is superior to twin tubes shocks with respect to damping and reliability. HQ Series shocks are rebound adjustable shock absorbers and offer exceptional quality—thanks to impact-forged, hard-anodized bodies and heavy-duty shafts. Order the kit recommended for your vehicle.

Rear HQ Shock Kit for 1963-1972 C10. For use with 4" lowering springs. Includes a pair of 5.75" stroke rebound adjustable shocks with upper and lower mounting brackets. These shocks are 11.15" x 16.9" with a 14"-14.5" ride height.
