Description
South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Drag Race clutch kits are designed with racers in mind. They include a single mass SFI-approved flywheel with each kit—typically required for drag racing when the original design is dual mass. The heavy-duty pressure plate is modified for a puck-style disc with no cushion between the linings to keep the clutch pedal travel short and quick. These South Bend Clutch Stage 2 Drag Race clutch kits are recommended for drag racing, drifting, and limited street use. Order the kit that's recommended for your specific vehicle and engine size.
Features, items, and specs include:
* Graphite-impregnated ceramic friction material for exceptional durability, heat transfer, torque capacity, and reduced chatter
* Puck-style disc reduces rotational mass and total drive surface area, while increasing psi on the surface of the friction material
* Disc design minimizes inertia, accelerating the transfer of torque from the engine to the wheels
* Meticulous processing and advanced packaging materials
