Don't be limited to adjustments! Completely re-valve in minutes with the QA1 MOD Series Pro coilover systems. Designed specifically to meet the demands required by today's high performance drag race and handling/pro-touring cars, QA1's multi-patent-pending MOD Series shocks will transform the way racers respond to changing track conditions and configurations. The key element to this tunability is QuickTune Technology: dry modular valve packs that can easily be swapped out, all while the shocks remain on the car. An industry first, MOD Series shocks can easily be re-valved without interrupting the oil path or opening up the shock for debris and air contamination. Medium compression and rebound valve packs come standard; soft or firm compression and rebound valve packs are also available.
Once the desired valving is in place, the unique double-adjustable design (with adjustable low-speed bleed) allows for fully independent control over the compression and rebound characteristics. With all these adjustability options, MOD Series shocks achieve an expansive force curve capability and an unprecedented level of tunability. The shocks also feature mounting adjustability to accommodate a variety of vehicles and mounting configurations. The nitrogen-charged canister is available in a piggyback or remote configuration for ease of installation in tight areas, and the base eyelet is indexable, so you can unbolt and reattach it at the angle you need for the best shock and canister placement. Like all QA1 shocks, MOD Series coilovers are 100 percent dyno-tested and serialized. Order the kit recommended for your vehicle.
Product Overview
QA1 offers bolt-in Rear Coil-Over Conversion Kits for 1965-1970 Chevy B-Bodies. These kits include specially designed USA made mounting brackets and single or double adjustable aluminum shocks, springs and all necessary hardware. Single adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of simultaneous rebound and compression adjustment while QA1's double adjustable shocks provide 18 positions of compression adjustment and 18 positions of rebound adjustment, for a total of 324 possible valving combinations. These shocks also utilize a fully threaded body that allows you to adjust your ride height for the perfect stance or to finely tune the weight balance for superior handling. Specially designed for QA1's Pro Coil Systems, the American-made lightweight high travel springs have fewer coils and a smaller wire diameter, resulting in increased travel due to the larger distance between the coils. They reduce unsprung weight and react faster, optimizing suspension performance. Multiple spring rate options are also available and have been successfully tested in various applications, from casual street driving to hard core race applications. With our highly popular adjustable front coil-over kits and the addition of the rear coil-over conversion kit, you can now get a complete suspension makeover for both ends of the vehicle.
