Hawk Performance DTC rotors are engineered for exceptional wear, efficient cooling, and reduced rotating mass. These rotors are cast from a proprietary formulation of premium alloys, including long-grain carbon iron for maximum thermal stability and resistance to distortion. Additional elements include copper and molybdenum for high-temperature strength and thermal crack resistance. Their unique interior vane and mounting lug design provide structural integrity, and the front rotors feature an exclusive slot design that provides superior initial bite, release characteristics, and wear debris removal. Hawk Performance DTC rotors have a specific RMS finish that enhances the creation of a proper transfer film, specifically when you use them with Hawk DTC brake pads. These rotors are meticulously inspected for the correct balance, thickness, flatness, and runout.
