Description
Trans Tunnel Plate Heat Shield blocks exhaust heat from coming through the transmission tunnel keeping interior cool and comfortable. A well known and long time problem with many Corvettes is the amount of heat transferred into and through the console. DEI has the solution to dramatically reduce the amount of heat transferred to the C6 (2005-2013) Transmission Tunnel Reinforcement Plates and into the vehicle's interior. This shield reduces the negative effects of in-cabin excessive high temperatures and improve the experience of driving a Corvette. All Federal catalytic converters meet EPA requirements. Federal Catalytic Converters are not legal for sale, installation or use on vehicles registered in the state of California.
All California State Catalytic converters are CARB compliant. Converters in this catalog are based on Executive Orders issued by the California Air Resource Board and must be used in accordance with this information. In California, it is illegal to select a catalytic converter for installation based solely on vehicle weight and engine size.
