Description

Daystar hood pin grommets, also known as scuff plates, are constructed from high-quality polyurethane material and are used to isolate the hood and help keep fiberglass hoods from cracking around mounting points. The grommets' rivet mounting holes fit perfectly in the recess formed by the hood pin plate dimpler. This creates a certain amount of give, enabling fiberglass to flex as needed, while still maintaining a positive attachment.
