It might be time for a new set of Crown Automotive lift supports. The pneumatic "struts" are gas-charged to provide the spring force needed for lifting the gate, trunk, or hood and holding it open. As with any automotive part, however, nothing lasts forever. Crown stocks many aftermarket replacement fitments for nearly every variety of Jeep, as well as some Dodge and Chrysler vehicles. Depending on your year, make, and model, there are many options to choose from. Crown Automotive lift supports are available for the driver and passenger side, for the front or back of your ride. The entire Crown line is backed by a 12-month/12,000-mile warranty.
