Description
These AutoMeter BVA-300 units are fast, menu-driven battery testers and charging system analyzers in a great new size. They provide quick and accurate professional results utilizing a 40 amp load, with AutoMeter's superior proven technology. The BVA-300s are user-friendly with no need to turn on headlights or accessories. Complete diagnostic system details are LCD-displayed after each test and stored in memory for review. The BVA-300s also perform a starter draw test and an alternator test. They automatically indicate amp output, open or shorted diodes, and good or bad regulation.
Additional features include:
* 6 V tests: Battery check and load test
* 12 V tests: Battery check; load test; alternator amp output; stator diodes; regulation test; and starter draw test
* 24 V tests: Alternator stator diodes/regulation and starter check
* Alternator test: Good and bad diode detection; high, good, and low regulation; alternator amp output
* Digital 1 in. x 2.5 in., 4-line x 16-character LCD display shows menus and test results
* Automated 40 amp resistive load
* 0 to 120 degrees F operating temperature
* 0 to 85 percent humidity, non-condensing
* Load test batteries rated from 200 to 1,600 CCA
* Measure 0 to 30 V with .01 V resolution
