They have an upper support bearing to provide you with accurate timing at higher rpm. Manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum and CNC-machined, these housings are built to handle high-rpm stress and remain looking good, too. Designed for use with an aftermarket control box and an external coil, Allstar high performance distributors fit small and big block Chevys and Fords. Allstar high performance distributors will help keep your timing true.

Additional Information
Body o.d. is 1.555 where distributor fits into intake.Distance from block mounting flange to top of cap is 8-1/8. This distributor features a .531 diameter shaft and includes a cast iron drive gear (OE Blue Dot w/1.249 OD) for use with flat tappet camshafts. Consult your engine builder or camshaft manufacturer for the correct drive gear for your application.
