Description
TurboStart 16 V racing batteries are designed to provide extra voltage to a racing ignition system. They will also improve the performance of other 12 V components, such as water pumps, cooling fans, starter motors, and fuel pumps. The batteries have two more cells than a standard 12 V battery and offer a full-charge voltage of 16.8. The TurboStart AGM (absorbent glass mat) 16 V racing batteries are maintenance-free--the AGM separator encapsulates the acid, making the batteries leakproof and spill-proof, even if the container is broken. Valve-regulated and compressed cell technology, along with deep cycle plates, leads to longer repeated charge and discharge cycles.
