Simpson Hybrid Sport restraints deliver the same level of safety and protection for adults and youth. Both the Hybrid Sport and Sport Jr. head restraint devices feature lightweight designs of DuPont carbon/polymer construction that provides maximum comfort and maneuverability with superior strength. They're designed for easily exiting the car without the danger of being entangled in other gear—by offering the lowest profile of any comparable device. Simpson Hybrid Sport Jr. systems are 25 percent smaller to fit youth as young as 4 years, and they have fixed-length back tethers. Both adult and junior devices come with optional patented SAS (Seatbelt Anchor System) for even greater coverage in flips, barrel rolls and side impacts.
