Spicer Drivetrain Products Life Series Plus U-joints will provide premium performance in the most demanding environments. Building on the superior design, lubrication, and sealing package of Spicer Life Series (SPL) U-joints, the SPL Plus u-joints feature upgraded grease, seal, seal guard, and spacer material.
Features of Spicer SPL Plus U-joints:
* Extended U-joint life--journal cross engineered with a cold-formed body to ensure better wear and overall strength
* Bearing cups are heat-treated for strength, precision-ground, and case-hardened for durability
* Multi-lip seal keeps grease in and contaminants out with enhanced seal and seal guard materials and offers maximum retention in a wider range of environments
* Thrust washer eliminates friction, end galling, and metal-to-metal contact
* Enhanced with synthetic grease--upgraded green synthetic grease significantly improves minimum and maximum temperature capabilities and increases bearing life
