They feature bodies crafted from heat-treated and coated chromoly steel with reinforced nylon/PTFE-lined, injection-molded races—and precision-ground, heat-treated, and hard chrome plated 52100 bearing steel balls. Their increased cross-sectional thickness offers greater tensile strength and metal-to-metal support for heavy shock loads. Product Overview
For the ultimate in performance rod ends, look no further than QA1's MXF Chromoly Steel Series female rod ends. These metric heavy duty rod ends are commonly used on 4-link and ladder bars for their strength and durability. MXF Series rod ends are completely self-sealing and self-lubricating because of their PTFE injection molded race that keeps dirt and debris out. The ball is made from 52100 bearing steel that has been heat treated, hard chrome plated and precision ground. The PTFE race is self-lubricating and self-sealing, and the body is made from chromoly steel that has been heat treated and protective coated for corrosion resistance. Features metal to metal support for heavy shock loads and increased cross-sectional thickness for greater tensile strength.
