These MSD 8-Plus CD ignitions produce the same extreme output as the original 8-series, yet they are now in a smaller housing with improved efficiency and internal components. The new 8-Plus ignitions feature built-in, 2-step rev control. Now you can switch between two rev limits without extra wiring or housings. For those who are looking for a dual-fire MSD 8, the MSD 8-Plus CD ignitions are all that you need. MSD's engineers were able to deliver ignitions that are capable of firing two coils at once for those extreme racers using dual plug race setups.
