They are manufactured under strict tolerances and provide outstanding, consistent results. BluePrint Engines GM 496 c.i.d. stroker dressed crate engines are dyno-tested and the results are shipped with engine .

Block:

* Hand-picked seasoned Chevy 454 big block
* Square and parallel decked
* Align-honed main bearing bore
* Cylinders honed to within .0002 straightness and roundness
* Cylinders are sonic-tested for thickness

Rotating assembly:

* Forged steel crankshaft
* OEM-type connecting rods with 150,000 psi rod bolts
* Hypereutectic pistons
* Hydraulic roller camshaft
