BluePrint's Standard Edition Builder Series combos pair engine and transmission, eliminating guesswork and making your life easier. These combos match a carbureted GM small block-compatible 400 c.i.d. engine with a 700R4 automatic transmission enabling the production of 500 hp and 510 lb.-ft. of torque with a compression ratio of 10.3:1.
Block:
* BluePrint high-strength cast iron
* Drilled and tapped for clutch linkage
* Mechanical fuel pump provision
* Passenger side dipstick
* 4.125 in. bore
* 4-bolt main
* One-piece rear main seal
Rotating assembly:
* BluePrint forged crankshaft
* Stroke: 3.750 in.
* Forged I-beam 5.700 in. connecting rods with 150,000 psi bolts
