With open airboxes, the Mishimoto intake system reduces restriction by up to 42 percent, and significantly increased induction sound, while the closed airboxes reduced restriction by 25 percent. The improved flow also results in power gains of over 6 HP and 4.8 lb-ft. of torque with the airboxes closed. Our airboxes also feature enlarged fresh air ducts to ensure cool air for your turbos.----Flow, power, and sound are all great, but they're useless without safety and reliability. Our airboxes are constructed from rotational-molded XLPE that safely insulates the intake air from engine bay heat. The CNC-machined aluminum MAF housings are precisely designed to ensure accurate and safe readings, even on the stock tune.
