Mishimoto has developed a performance air intake engineered specifically for the 2014+ Mercedes CLA45 AMG! The intake features numerous innovative components, including a silicone turbo inlet hose that contains a co-molded CNC block for the stock sensors and breather ports! The silicone inlet hose was designed with smooth contours and transitions for maximum airflow compared to the stock rubber hose. The combination of this silicone inlet hose and our free-flowing Mishimoto air filter translated to massive gains of 20 whp and 17 wtq at 5900RPM! This intake is safe to use with the stock tune as it will not hurt air/fuel ratios under load. This intake has a unique and aggressive tone under acceleration and boost, and the free-flowing design amplifies turbocharger spool and BPV sounds. Check out the video to hear the tone. The stock intake duct is utilized to provide cool airflow to the Mishimoto High-Flow Oiled Air Filter, which features increased filtration surface area compared to the stock paper filter. This filter can be cleaned and reused, providing a lifetime of service. The intake includes an enclosed airbox that collects all of the cold outside air from the front of the engine. The airbox is made from 5052 aluminum with a black powder-coated finish to reduce weight compared to a steel intake box, and to prevent against any corrosion. The airbox also protects against engine bay heat-soak, and it provides a stock-like engine bay appearance. This unit is a complete bolt-on that functions perfectly with the stock tune and can be installed in one hour using common hand tools. This kit includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty, ensuring superior product quality and craftsmanship."

This kit is engineered specifically for your ride and includes everything needed to replace the restrictive stock airbox. Our engineers spent months fine-tuning this design in an attempt to squeak out every last bit of performance. This dyno-proven air intake provides gains over the stock intake while maintaining safe air/fuel ratios, perfect for some extra punch on the street or autocross course.
The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake includes everything needed for installation, installs in under one hour, and works perfectly with the stock tune. The mandrel-bent aluminum intake pipe is available with a red or black powder-coated finish or a polished aluminum finish. This pipe utilizes the Mishimoto air straightener and CNC-machined mass airflow sensor (MAF) housing to provide accurate and consistent MAF readings, which translates into a smooth power band. To reduce air intake temperatures (IATs), the air filter has been placed outside the hot engine bay, and a powder-coated heat shield prevents any heat-soak from occurring. The Mishimoto free-flowing air filter provides greater surface area, optimal airflow, and proper filtration of dirt and debris. The included Mishimoto oiled air filter is completely serviceable, allowing for a lifetime of reliable use. Additionally this kit includes a silicone coupler, clamps, and all other hardware necessary to complete a quick installation for easy bolt-on power. Along with an upgrade in power, this intake also provides an aggressive and rich intake tone that is a huge improvement over the stock intake. The Mishimoto Performance Air Intake is made in the USA and includes the Mishimoto Lifetime Warranty, ensuring superior product quality and craftsmanship.
