Maradyne Smart Start electric fans provide many of the features from brushless BLDC fans without the cost or requiring a PWM (Pulse-Width Modulation) controller. They provide smooth and uniform starting which helps reduce strain on the motor and fuse. The minimized draw at startup helps extend the life of the fan and limits transient voltage.
