IMPORTANT NOTICE: Converter has one oxygen sensor boss. Universal fit catalytic converters may require the use of welding, cutting, and tube-bending equipment for installation. Tuning may be required when changing catalytic converters.
Keep the check engine light off with MagnaFlow Standard Grade Federal/EPA Compliant Universal Catalytic Converter 53035. The Universal design allows the part to fit a wide array of vehicles (cutting and welding required), and the stainless steel construction of this spun body catalytic converter is highly resistant to corrosion. The single laser fusion weld of the spun body greatly reduces the possibility of a leak, and our compact, low-mass design also allows for greater thermal efficiency. This replacement part is designed to meet or exceed Federal emissions requirements set forth by the EPA, complying with legal standards for pre-OBDII Federally registered vehicles.

All Federal catalytic converters meet EPA requirements. Federal Catalytic Converters are not legal for sale, installation or use on vehicles registered in the state of California.
All California State Catalytic converters are CARB compliant. Converters in this catalog are based on Executive Orders issued by the California Air Resource Board and must be used in accordance with this information. In California, it is illegal to select a catalytic converter for installation based solely on vehicle weight and engine size.
