Pin Fit, Lateral Gas Ports, and Vertical Gas Ports. JE Auto Pistons are engineered, forged and machined 100% in the USA

• Designed specifically for Chevrolet Big Block Big Chief Engines. To provide optimized performance durability
• Forged in the USA using 2618 aluminum, yielding high tensile strength needed for high-demand performance applications
• Includes high-quality wrist pins, and locks
• Lateral Gas Ports: This process mills slots into the top of the top ring groove and provides a pathway for combustion pressure to get behind the top ring. Resulting in increased ring seal and is most common in circle track applications.
• Made 100% in the USA
• Pin Fit: The pin bore is precision honed to attain an exact pin clearance. Clearances typically range from .0003 to .0010 between the wrist pin and pin bore.
• Proprietary Forged Side Relief (FSR) forging design minimizes friction and power loss with reduced skirt width and saves additional weight with a shorter wrist pin
• Vertical Gas Ports: Machined gas ports channel combustion pressure behind the top ring for improved cylinder sealing and reduced blow-by under high load. Common in drag racing applications where maximum ring seal is critical.
