Description
HushMat floor kits are created to reduce thermal transfer into your interior that comes from the engine, headers, exhaust, and catalytic converter. HushMat's proprietary USA-manufactured visco-elastic chemistry dissipates heat insulating your interior, causing less load on your air conditioning system to make your vehicle significantly cooler and more comfortable.
Additional features and benefits include:
* HushMat butyl sheets are available in stealth black or silver
* Self-adhesive peel-and-stick installation (no glue required, no alcohol or acetone wash needed; no installation tools required)
* Universal application (can be applied to firewall, floor pan, tunnel, doors, roof, rear wheel wells, trunk, and quarter panels)
* Reduces heat and thermal transfer by over 40 percent
* Lightweight and super-flexible (less than 1/8 in. thick and 0.47 lbs. per sq. ft.)
* Trims easily with standard razor knife or household scissors
* Stay warmer in the winter and cooler in the summer (insulates from -30 degrees up to 550+ degrees F)
* Reduces road noise and vibration (low-frequency noise from 0 to 1,000 Hz)
* OEM approved
* Installs in half the time vs. other brands
