Description
Oil filters are often located near hot headers in an area of the vehicle that doesn't get much air movement. An oil filter heat shield will help prevent oil overheating by dropping oil temperatures and resulting in extended oil life.
Heatshield Products Stealth oil filter heat shields can help you avoid cooking the oil filter and the oil running through it, while also protecting the filter from on- and off-road debris and hazards. They do this by encasing your oil filter in the proprietary Lava Shield volcanic rock fiber-based thermal barrier material. Dyed black for a covert appearance, Stealth shields slide over the filter snugly and are held in place by magnets, which also allows it to be removed when necessary. The magnets are effective at trapping metal debris inside the oil filter, further improving the filtration and offering your engine more protection. Available in sizes to fit most popular canister style oil filters, select Stealth heat shield designed for your vehicle.
