Heatshield Products Cat Armor catalytic converter heat shields feature both water and chemical resistance for increased durability. The outer aluminum shell makes them ideal for off-road applications. As for street applications, since aftermarket exhaust systems often relocate converters away from factory-installed floor pan insulation and sometimes closer to the transmission, using Cat Armor can help keep interior and drivetrain temperatures cool.
