Description

High-powered engines and sticky tires often make first generation Camaro and Firebird convertibles twist under pressure. Hotchkis Sport Suspension Chassis Max systems strengthen early F-body chassis by adding structural integrity that drastically improves handling. The Chassis Max cross brace and subframe connectors attach to the leaf spring pickup points and have been designed to clear up to 3 in. diameter dual exhausts. Their superior multi-piece design contours around the undercarriage, maintaining ground clearance and a clean look.

Additional cross brace features include:

* TIG-welded 10-gauge steel construction
* Black powdercoated finish
* Stainless steel hardware
* Laser-cut Hotchkis logo

Additional subframe connector features include:

* TIG-welded 1.5 in. x 2.5 in., 0.120 in. wall steel construction
* Black powdercoated finish
* Urethane front body mount included
* No cutting or modification of the floor required
* Rear mount is weld-in, front mount is bolt-in with option to weld
