Description
EPAS Performance's Hydroelectric Pump System has a program that works with an angle sensor and CAN protocol. The converter talks to the pump via the angle sensor, ramping up the system's pressure as needed. There is no noticeable delay or drop in pressure when input at the steering wheel is exerted. This steering conversion kit includes 6 ft. of high-pressure sending hose, 6 ft. of low-pressure return hose, and the power cords are 10 ft. in length. An oil cooler can be added for racing applications. The wiring harness is essentially plug-and-play, and only requires a hot ignition source and full battery power. System draw is anywhere between 1 amp to 45 amps, spending most of its time in the lower amp range. Maximum pressure of the unit is rated at 1900 psi @ 5 gpm; and the absolute maximum length of the pressure hose and return lines is 17 ft.
