Will replace distorted and worn-out original rubber mounts to maintain car body and truck cab to bed alignment. Original rubber mounts are so soft they often crack, distort, and crush so badly they often fall off! And aluminum body mounts are too harsh for street use that they tend to break and cause other components to break.Energy's specially formulated Hyper-Flex™ polyurethane cab and body mounts combine the best qualities of both: they're soft enough for a smooth ride, yet rugged enough for the most demanding road or track.Most sets have a strong zinc plated steel ring molded into them - for added durability and when the application requires it.

Product Overview

A true performance application component for cars, trucks, hot rods and racing and competition vehicles - yet designed to be also used for street vehicles. Soft-running enough to absorb vibrations for street use yet rugged for racing use. When required- a torque resistant safety interlock design is used that is comparable in strength to those too hard-running metal mounts. Replaces the original, short lived and typically too-soft rubber mounts and outdates those hard-running metal motor mounts. The popular early style mounts for General Motors(R) vehicles are available in either zinc or chrome metal finishes. Made of Hyper-Flex(TM) performance polyurethane. Resistant to under vehicle fluid oils, coolants and road contaminants.
