Description
CURT vertical receiver adapters turn vertical receivers into standard ball mount platforms or horizontal receiver tubes. Trailer hitches with a receiver tube that points down are sometimes preferred because the hitch can be completely hidden from view. With this design, a special ball mount with a vertical shank is required to all make the vehicle ready for towing or a hitch-mounted accessory.
They are constructed using their quality manufacturing processes. Curt CNC-forms, and then welds them using advanced robotic systems. They are mechanically descaled to make each adapter smooth for a finishing coat, and then they receive a durable gloss black powdercoat finish to give them excellent rust, chip, and UV resistance. Vertical receiver adapters are available with a variety of shanks, sizes, gross weight, and tongue weight capacities.
