This system INCLUDES functioning MDS (multi-displacement system) valves. System features a X-Pipe for improved performance. System also features Borla(r)'s Polyphonic Harmonizer Technology which utilizes patented units that contain pipes of different diameters and lengths to create multiple exhaust notes that harmonize to deliver a clean, rich, full-bodied sound to the Borla(r) mufflers. The mufflers then enhance this sound to the character and volume appropriate for our Touring, S-Type and ATAK(r) systems. Tips NOT included. Use factory valance / tips. BORLA has announced the development of a revolutionary new exhaust technology that enables their engineers to deliver unprecedented vehicle-specific control over the acoustical note of an exhaust throughout the RPM range, while retaining 100% of the power-adding capabilities of BORLAÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s patented Multicore design. Called ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics), this exclusive technology (U.S. patent #5,248,859) produces the highest available dB (decibel) levels in the BORLA street-legal lineup, and is designed for high-performance purists who prefer exhaust notes over their stereos. The focus of ATAK is to pump the volume while retaining clarity of sound, at the same time avoiding the drone and distortion typically found in louder exhausts.
