This 2.75" diameter Cat-Back(tm) system features a Merge X-Pipe for increased performance and improved sound. This system INCLUDES MDS (multi-displacement system) Valve Simulators which ELIMINATE the MDS valves. This avoids any warning lights on the dash while providing maximum flow at all times. The system delivers the aggressive ATAK(r) sound with no drone inside the vehicle. Tips NOT included. Use factory valance / tips or optional BORLA(r) tips 60729, 60729BC, 60729CFBA. BORLA(r) Cat-Back(tm) & Axle-Back exhaust systems feature patented straight-through and multi-core technology to unleash hidden horsepower. Product Overview

BORLA has announced the development of a revolutionary new exhaust technology that enables their engineers to deliver unprecedented vehicle-specific control over the acoustical note of an exhaust throughout the RPM range, while retaining 100% of the power-adding capabilities of BORLAÃ¢â‚¬â„¢s patented Multicore design. Called ATAK (Acoustically-Tuned Applied Kinetics), this exclusive technology (U.S. patent #5,248,859) produces the highest available dB (decibel) levels in the BORLA street-legal lineup, and is designed for high-performance purists who prefer exhaust notes over their stereos. The focus of ATAK is to pump the volume while retaining clarity of sound, at the same time avoiding the drone and distortion typically found in louder exhausts.
