Superior to stock, everything about Banks Techni-Cooler Intercooler system is bigger. It includes mandrel-bent high-flow boost tubes - large, high-efficiency all-aluminum end tanks - a wide-open inlet and outlet - a thicker core area with an improvement in volume. Techni-Cooler dramatically increases the cooling capacity by balancing the richer fuel mixture with greater airflow and cooler, denser air. Denser air has more oxygen, which improves combustion as well as engine efficiency. Result: higher continuous power and more power at any exhaust gas temp (EGT), better fuel economy, and lower EGTs. Thats a truckload of benefits! Banks Techni-Cooler delivers the maximum reduction in boost air temperature with a minimal loss of boost pressure. It doesn't get any cooler than Techni-Cooler! Includes mandrel-bent 3.5 inch high-flow boost tubes and super-flow High-Ram intake manifold for maximum performance. Superior to Stock: Everything about Banks Techni-Cooler Intercooler System is designed bigger and better. This upgrade kit includes a set of 3.5 inch high-flow boost tubes and a Banks designed intercooler solution. The Banks Boost Tubes feature over sized mandrel-bent pipes matched to the increased performance design of the new intercooler. The Banks designed intercooler has a 19 percent thicker core with 21 percent greater volume to improve cooling. It also has large high-efficiency all-aluminum end tanks and wide-open inlet / outlets for a 69 percent greater flow area. Lastly to complete the kit, our Banks High-Ram Intake Elbow is also included. The Banks Techni-Cooler dramatically increases the engines cooling capacity and power potential by balancing a richer fuel mixture with cooler, denser, improved airflow.
