Description
Baers SS4+ Deep Stage Dual Staging disc brake kits deliver serious stopping power in a compact package to fit most 15 in. wheels. The SS4+ kits are essentially the same as the Baer SS4, but these systems employ 2-piece rotors for improved overall weight reduction, enhanced performance, and a dynamic race car look. These kits are intended for racing only—and feature four (S4) 4-piston calipers, each mounted to a 2-piece slotted, drilled, and zinc plated rotor. (If SS4+ brakes are used on the street [due to brake bias change], spend some time making sure that they're adjusted correctly.) Deep Stage disc brakes are offered in front or rear versions for a matching look, available for a variety of vehicle, bolt pattern, and axle applications.

- Designed to be used with Ford early big bearing housing ends with 2.5 in. standoff. Axle flange must be turned down to 5.750 in., rotor register is 2.780 in.; drilled for 5/8 in. drive pin studs. Uses Hawk HB100 or DR1 size pads. Intended for racing use only; if used on the street, brake bias must be adjusted. A smaller 1.375 in. piston option is available for cars that will see limited street use.
