IMPORTANT NOTICE: Hall effect style sender, 16 pulse per revolution with pass-thru drive for cruise control. Adapts Ford transmissions with plug-in style speedometer cable output. This sending unit is designed for use with Autometer speedometers, and will not work with OEM speedometers under any circumstances.
This high quality mechanical to electric hall effect speed sensor from AutoMeter is engineered to adapt to Ford transmissions originally designed to accept a 'plug-in' style speedometer cable. This sensor provides 16 pulse per revolution, 12 V square wave signal output, and includes a pass through connection point to support other vehicle accessories such as cruise control functions which may still require a mechanical connection to the transmission.
